One of Emma’s favorite things to do is to drag pull toys behind her in circles throughout the house.  From the kitchen, to the foyer, through the living/dining room and back again.  It’s even more fun for her when her daddy and I follow her single file with our own pull toys, which is why I’m going to need some serious physical therapy for my back sometime soon.

Another favorite toy she loves is the ride on, and the geniuses at New Beginnings have combined these two classic children’s toys into one.  They sent us Trunk and Lil Squirt, which is an adorable blue elephant that pulls a baby elephant behind her.  Children can use the ride on this way, but also have the option to detach the pull toy and use it separately.

The big elephant’s ears can be moved back and forth so in a sense it becomes a third toy to stimulate a child’s imagination.   I really like this company’s back to basics approach to playtime.  My only wish is that the seat was a little taller to match my daughter who is off the charts in height for her age.  It still works great, but I know that sadly, she will be outgrowing it soon.
