Winners: AutumH,
What do you give to your boss/neighbor/mailman over the holiday season? One thing I like to do is bake an assortment of cookies. It doesn’t cost much to do, and I don’t know anyone who doesn’t appreciate a box of cookies. The problem is, I never had a way to package them nicely. A disposable container and a big red bow does not a pretty package make.
Thanks to Martha Stewart, you don’t have to be Martha Stewart to make beautiful crafts for the holidays. I have always loved her punches. One of her staff showed me how to use them at her blogger party back in August. They come in all styles, but I was recently sent the Snow Flurry Punch Around the Page Set and the Snowflake Deep Double Edge Punch which are perfect for the winter season. Take a look at my mini projects below.
I have some practicing to do, but not bad for my first go right?
Martha Stewart Crafts punches make it so easy. There are guides to help you perfect the punch so that you don’t break the beautiful patterns, and they’re great for scrapbooking, card making, or even adding your own personal touch to pre-made cards. It costs a lot to order die-cut cards – why not do it yourself?
I just might include a handmade card with my beautifully packaged cookie gifts.
The Scandinavian Snowflake compartment boxes are perfect for when you want to package several types of cookies together. The kit comes with everything you need, a snowflake window box, four mini dividers with scalloped edging, tissue paper, ribbon and adhesive gift tags. The Scandinavian Snowflake treat boxes are larger, a slightly different design and without the dividers. I love the scalloped edge on the box itself. And those beauties in the center are the Candy Cane Cello Treat Bags. They’re perfect for cookie exchange parties.
Check out the Martha Stewart craft blog for more great handmade ideas.
