I’m pretty brand-loyal when it comes to scented candles. When someone gifts me a scented candle by any other name, I snub it. Maybe I’m a candle-snob, if there is such a thing. So when my friend Maryann told me she was becoming a consultant for Gold Canyon Candles, I was skeptical.
To be honest, I didn’t think the brand would live up to my expectations, but I was surprised in a good way. I started burning my first Gold Canyon candle the other day, a 5-ounce jar of Mrs Claus’s Kitchen Heritage Candle. It’s a holiday scent like none other, and it reminds me of the scent of caramel, but here’s the official description: Mrs. Claus’s sweet treat made from sweet maple syrup, graham crackers and vanilla. Seasonal availability only.
I just wish I could add the scent for you into this blog post, because you have to smell for yourself. This candle smells amazing, and I can’t wait to try some more.
The prices are reasonable, too. A five-ounce candle is $7.98, eight-ounce for $11.98, 16-ounce for $15.98, 26-ounce for $18.98. Comparable to the other brand I love, but with a slight edge on price.
GIVEAWAY! One lucky reader will win an 8-ounce candle of their choice! (12/14)
