Emma is a budding artist. She’s creative just like her mama, so when people ask me for gift ideas I usually suggest tools and supplies for arts and crafts. These mini projects give her something to do other than watch television, and she enjoys the process way more.
My only complaint is that I don’t have enough wall space to display all of her art; ounce she is finished creating, it has served it’s purpose. There’s nothing for her to do with it but give it away to Grandma and Grandpa or one of her uncles. Or we have to toss it.
When I saw Wearables for the first time, I was thrilled with the concept. Now the fun doesn’t have to end when you put the crayons away. We got to work by coloring the princess carriage until we were content, and then daddy assembled our art into a three-dimensional toy. It’s wearable art!
This is a fantastic gift idea for kids age 4-10, and at a great price point under $30. Perfect to keep the kids busy and out of trouble on Christmas morning while mom gets dinner on the table!
Wearables are available in three versions: A stunt plane, a princess carriage and a bulldozer. Find them at Toys”R”Us and Amazon.
One lucky reader will win the Wearables project of their choice!
US residents. Ends November 21st.
Thank you to Wearables for providing items for review and giveaway.
