Have you ever tried to bake a fancy new cake for your holiday host? The problem with fancy new cakes is that they sometimes take some practice. I don’t know about you, but I want to make sure I’m presenting a host or gift recipient with something that’s perfect and delicious. I can’t always count on those two qualities when I’m trying to whip up something in my kitchen. So why not have Bake Me a Wish do all of the hard work? And they’ll deliver it to your friend’s door with a lovely note, too.
Here is the description for the featured holiday cake from Bake Me A Wish, the Chocolate Mint Chip Cake: Cool peppermint meets chocolate brownie in this delectable cake: a layer of deluxe chocolate mint brownie thickly blanketed with smooth & creamy fudge frosting, with an avalanche mint chips adorning the top and bittersweet chocolate shavings all along the sides. Includes an imported Belgian Chocolate Occasion plaque, matching Greeting Card and comes packaged in an elegant gift box.
Knowing full well that I’d have destroyed this cake single handedly if this cake were delivered to my home on a regular day, I decided to time the delivery with my husband’s birthday. This became his second birthday cake. It features cute little candy Christmas trees on top, with that signature belgian chocolate plaque that Bake Me A Wish Cakes always come with.
The cake is more of a brownie than a cake, and 100% to die for. To be honest, I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did. Everyone raved about it, and even Emma wanted two helpings. I was surprised by this because of the mint aspect, and my little picky eater, but I have it give it to her – no one can deny it’s deliciousness.
