One year, my parents decided to purchase a Hickory Farms gift for my Grandmother. She knew what was good. It was such a hit that first year, so we’d return to the same kiosk in the mall in the years after for her Christmas gift as if it were a tradition in and of itself.
It brought back fond memories when I received my very own Hickory Farms Party Planner Box recently, and it got me thinking about traditions past, present, and future. Sharing yummy food with friends and family is a seasonal tradition for sure :).
But first, let’s talk about the Hickory Farms Party Planner Box. This special box contains the following:
-Signature Beef Summer Sausage 7 oz.
-Spicy & Savory Recipe Beef Summer Sausage 5 oz.
-Turkey Summer Sausage 5 oz.
-Smoked Gouda 6 oz.
-Farmhouse Cheddar 4 oz.
-Smoked Cheddar Blend 4 oz.
-Creamy Swiss Blend 4 oz.
-Classical Mixed Nuts 6 oz.
-Cranberry & Sesame Nut Mix 4 oz.
-Cranberry Mustard 2.5 oz.
-Sweet Hot Mustard 2.25 oz..
It is available for $45.50, and for every one sold this holiday, the company will donate $5 to Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry ® Campaign. That’s a fabulous tradition if you ask me.
Last year was our first visit to Rockefeller Center to see the tree and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular as a family – me, my husband and daughter. Emma was turning three and had a blast. This year we decided to skip it with Ryan being so young. But from next year going forward, I’d like to make the annual trip into New York City our annual Christmastime tradition.
We also have a few other local events such as a Christmas festival, live nativities and horse-drawn hayrides that I’d like to repeat year after year. There are such fun things to do during the season!
What are your favorite traditions during this holiday season? Tell us for a chance to win!
One lucky reader will win the Hickory Farms Party Planner Box!
