I’m not one to buy a lot of costume jewelry for myself. Only once in a while if I’m buying something specifically for an occassion or to match a dress. But for the most part, I like the real thing. Timeless quality pieces that look beautiful no matter what I’m wearing that will last forever.
When I received my first Helen Ficalora necklace earlier this year, I was impressed. The unboxing is an experience in and of itself. I knew what to expect when this new necklace arrived and I was so excited to find the hot pink box on my doorstep once again. The box inside the box is even more gorgeous.
I chose my charm a few weeks ago. It wasn’t easy because the selection is so vast, but I did it. I fell in love with the mini feather charm. My mom used to call me ‘Heather Feather’ so I could not resist when I saw it. When I opened the box and saw it in person, I fell in love all over again.
The box is pretty cool, right? I love the packaging so much that I saved the last box and I will put this one away in my closet as well.
Many of the charms and jewelry can be customized and designed in your choice of yellow gold, white gold, rose gold or sterling silver. My big feather mini charm hangs on a fine 18″ sterling silver chain.
I just love the look; it’s understated with a touch of whimsy. Definitely something I can wear daily.
