This year I discovered Chia seeds. Usually I add them to my yogurt or morning power smoothies. This is was my favorite way to enjoy them but not always convenient when I’m on the run. I was so excited to try Health Warrior Chia Bars because not only are they super convenient but I needed to shake up my routine to keep from getting bored of my chia eating ways.
The bars looked kinda funny, and I have to admit that I didn’t think that I would like them but I totally did. And so does everyone else in the family. Amazing – we’re all eating chia seeds now!
The bars come in many different flavors but of the four varieties we tried, my favorites are Acai Berry and Apple Cinnamon. If you don’t know what chia seeds are all about, here is the readers digest version to give you an idea of some of the health benefits. I started eating them because they are rich in fiber and keep you feeling full and that was what I needed while trying to lose weight, but there are many other reasons why they’re good for you.
Health Warrior Chia Bars are the only bar on the market with chia seeds as its primary ingredient. They contain only 100 calories per bar (Coconut is the only flavor with 110 calories) and just five or less grams of sugar. They are 100% natural, vegan and free of dairy, gluten and soy. Find them at a Whole Foods store near you or order online.

I have not seen these in my local stores – I would love to try the coconut one.
As I was reading, I was wondering about them getting stuck in your teeth. And then I see you answered that to Liz.. Other than that, it sounds like a great on the go snack, which is something my schedule needs.
I have never tried chia seeds before but these chia bars sound healthy and dont look too bad lol. I would like to give these chia bars a try.
I’ve never heard of these, I’m a chia seed freak! I’ll have to look for them.
I tried them in a juice the other day and they got all soft and squishy. It was weird, but I still liked it lol. These are next for me, I think!
The only thing I don’t like is how they get stuck in your teeth, but you get used to it!
I’d probably like the apple cinnamon myself, too. These sound pretty good.
