HALO ComfortLuxe Advanced Comfort Sleepwear–Review & Giveaway

I was so delighted when I received the new HALO ComfortLuxe Advanced Comfort Sleepwear set with Rex the dog on them.  We are big time dog lovers, and my Jack is already enamoured with dogs of all types, so I just loved the print.  The jammies themselves felt nice to the touch, with the breathable mesh that is their signature, as it wicks moisture away from the skin.

I found getting the PJs on to be a bit more challenging than your typical cotton jammies, mostly because the mesh isn’t quite as stretchy as cotton.  Once on, they were cool and comfortable and kept my “sleepy sweaty guy” in check and comfortably dry.  The elastic at the waistline is a bit looser than I expected, giving me a funny moment:  during our evening gilder time, Jack was bumping up and down on my lap, exercising his little chubby legs, when I glanced at him and found, lo and behold, he’d managed to work his pants down around his ankles!  Gave me a good chuckle.

They washed and dried well and sizing note:  my boy, who is typically in 12 months as of 6 months old, fit nicely into the 6-9 month sized two piece sleeper set, which were even a bit long on him.  The verdict:  cute and breathable! -Megan

Emma also received a pair of the ComfortLuxe Advanced Comfort Sleepwear.  My husband was not a fan of the fabric being used to cotton material, because of the stretch factor that Megan mentioned above, but he doesn’t realize that the ComfortLuxe™ fabric breathes better than cotton and works to wick away moisture 2 times faster than cotton.  It’s also received the Seal of Acceptance by the National Eczema Association, and who knows better about skin health?

I really like the fabric, the dinosaur design and bright blue color.  We live in a world of pink and purple, so this was a nice change for our girly-colored pajama rotation.  -Heather
