HairUWear Ombre Clip-In Extensions Review

By Jennifer

hairuwearlogo

If you have a non-committal relationship with your hair, clip-in extensions are a quick and easy solution to achieving ombre. Hairdo by HairUWear Ombre Clip-In Extensions ($49: ULTA.com) are a multi-level, 16” clip-in that not only gives you dazzling length, but delivers the graduated effect seen on glam, trend-setting starlets everywhere.

I jumped at the chance to review these ombre extensions because, honestly, i’m pretty boring when it comes to my hair and I love the look on others.  It gave me a chance to try the look without the commitment.  My hair has been brunette my entire life.

Originally I was sent the wrong shade, but decided to have a friend in my office try it out.  Her hair is currently ombre (see left picture).  She loved the extensions, they worked well with her current color and made her hair super long (the picture is deceiving the right picture is taken from farther away).

Once I received the new color (Hazel), we played around with it in the office — I first tested it on one of the other attorneys in my office.  She has brunette hair like me.

The brunette ombre shades are definitely more distinct than the blonde.  I don’t think it’s an appropriate office look but can be fun for a night out.

The extensions can be found at Ulta online – and right now they’re on sale for $39.20!

The samples were provided, these are my candid thoughts.
