Growing tall with Frecklebox (Review & Giveaway)

By Heather

freckleboxlogoClosed
I’m a huge fan of Frecklebox, as you can tell from the review I wrote on their customized storybooks last year.  Every child goes ape for items inscribed with their name, and that’s why this store is always a safe bet when you need to find the perfect gift for a child.

maya My daughter is growing so fast, and I’d love to easily track this little weed’s progress as she outgrows me.  I’d been looking for a growth chart ever since Emma could walk, and Frecklebox goes one step further by offering personalized growth charts for boys and girls.

There is a wide variety of adorable designs available, but I have to be honest.  I was disappointed that there is no chart featuring a little lady with brunette-colored hair, only redheads and blondes.  It would be nice to see a new illustration offered, or even better yet—have the option to change the hair color on each illustration.

The Maya growth chart pictured above is my favorite, and would have  matched the nursery best, but due to the fact that my girl isn’t a blondie, we went with the Flower Garden chart.  I figure since Emma is too young to know what her favorite things/animals are, that flowers are pretty universal.  The chart is made of canvas and is weighted by a wooden dowel.  The colors are bright and vivid.  There is a pretty matching ribbon 005at the top for hanging.  The details are so important, and never lacking at Frecklebox.

How stinkin’ cute is she? I can’t wait to start marking away, and today my little lady is 17 months old, so it’s the perfect time for it.  As she grows, I’ll record every inch until she grows taller than the 60-inch chart and me. :)
