Many people will tell you that they don’t like grocery shopping. I’m one of those people that actually enjoys roaming around the store, humming along to the music playing on the speakers, choosing the groceries we’ll need for the week’s meals. But then along came children and grocery shopping became somewhat of a nightmare less fun. I can’t focus and end up forgetting the essentials and buying a lot of stuff we don’t really need.

I love shopping online for groceries because I can take my time and add to my list while taking inventory of what’s in my pantry and freezer. Sometimes I’ll refer to my pinterest board where I have saved all of the recipes I’d like to make so I can make sure I add essential ingredients to my order.

Peapod groceryPeapod simplifies the grocery shopping process so that you can have more time to tackle all of the other to-dos on your list. You can choose to pick up your order at the nearest location or have them bring it to your door.

Many grocery stores charge a hefty fee to both shop and deliver your grocery order. Comparing Peapod with what my grocery store charges, delivery fees were about half the price. I was quite surprised. Rates vary depending upon your location. Peapod offers all of the brands and items you usually buy including more rare natural and organic products.

peapodDon’t forget to use those coupons! Peapod doubles all manufacturers coupons under $.99 and you can also shop sale items to save even more. First time customers can enjoy a special discount. Get $15 Off Your First Order at Peapod.com with code PPCJ15 through 3/31. Some exclusions apply, see site for details. Shop Today!

The Giant nearest to me doesn’t participate in Peapod yet. It sounds like a really great program, especially during the winter months when I don’t want to go outside!

Thanks for sharing this! This is something that my friends over on that part of the world would love to know. It really is great how technology can make things so much easier and at a good price/value too.

I have to check this out. I’ve been eyeing the Publix and Walmart delivery service. I don’t have as much as time as I used to, so this might be better!
    thanks,
