This year, my St. Patrick’s Day was very different than prior years. Long gone are the days of morning Bailey’s on our way to the parade, bars and lots of fun parties after….now, I have kids. And a job. So my St. Patrick’s Day excitement was getting the girls dressed up for their holiday party and giving them lots of fun “green” snacks to enjoy. Oh, how times have changed! And I don’t mind it a bit!
This year I didn’t have any chance to make any cute pinterest-worthy snacks for them, so I was THRILLED to try out some “green” snacks from Ella’s Kitchen and Earth’s Best to help my girls get in the mood for the holiday!
Squeeze packs and puff-type products are a must in my house – when the baby is freaking out, there are just so convenient. Earth’s Best Pop Snax are a bit different than the regular ones we are used to but there have veggie parts in them and are shaped like little wheels – my little ones love them (yes, my 5 years steals some as well)!
They have so many flavors – my daughter’s personal favorites are the ones with pears and apples, but she seriously sucks each and every one of them down!
I’ve yet to find an Ella’s Kitchen squeeze pack she didn’t like!
We haven’t tried the dinner-type packets before so I was interested in giving them a shot.
I wasn’t sure what to expect in those packages! Here is the Spaghetti & Meat Sauce:
I have to admit, not the most appetizing this to look at but my 1-year old loved it! Little pieces of pasta (I guess Spaghetti cut up?) in a thick meat sauce. As a finger food it’s messy (trust me) but totally works if feeding with a spoon/fork.
I love knowing that the Ella’s Kitchen and Earth’s Best products are yummy, healthy and natural. Keeping these on-hand in my house and in my diaper bag, i’m set for any needed snacks.
