When I hear the word Pistachio, the answer is always yes. Was that a question? Anyway, I tried this morning smoothie recipe last week and it was fantastic. I’m a fan of anything that is both healthy and tasty.
The pistachios are the dominant flavor in this drink. My kids couldn’t get over the fact that it’s green, but that’s okay. More for me. This is a bit more on the savory side than my usual morning smoothie. I think it makes a great option for a mid-day snack.
Green Pistachio Smoothie
- 1½ cups vanilla almond milk
- ¼ cup pistachios
- 1 banana
- 2 handfuls baby spinach
- 1 cup ice
- Add all ingredients to the blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour and enjoy.
