I’m already starting to think about the new baby’s room, and yet it’s too early to determine the gender. Normally I wouldn’t be rushing to get it done at this point. I mean I do have about 6 more months to go, but I’ve already gotten to the point where it hurts for me to be on my feet so I’d love to get the room done early. Of course that would limit my options…or so one would think.
Looking through the gender-neutral selection at Carousel Designs, I was so impressed with the variety and quantity of designs. Many stores offer mostly boy or girl designs, with maybe one or two green and yellow, so this was a pleasant surprise.
A few of the bedding sets caught my eye, but I was particularly drawn to the Blue and Taupe Paisley; I just love how peaceful and serene this room looks.
Having done purple, and later pink for Emma’s room, I feel like I’ve been there and done that. Even if I have a girl, I wouldn’t mind a pale blue room. The print on the Blue and Taupe Paisley Crib Blanket is pretty enough for a girl and manly enough for a boy.
The beautiful fabric I fell for is on the one side, with a nice surprise on the other; a luxuriously soft minky fabric. I’m so in love with this print, that I may just go and buy the rest of the bedding. The quality and attention to detail is impressive; I found my new favorite baby bedding store, that’s for sure.
