Here’s another reason to love the Nintendo Switch. Pikmin 3 Deluxe was just released about a month ago and it’s become my eight year old’s newest obsession. The premise: Three brave explorers land on planet PNF-404 on a mission to find food for their starving home planet. After a crash landing, these explorers must work with Pikmin to reunite and complete their mission.
In this game you grow a following of Pikmin, these adorable plantlike creatures that help you overcome obstacles, defeat creatures, and find food for your famished home planet!
There are different difficulty settings which help customize the experience for kids of all ages. This option will give players more time to complete their tasks. There are also different ways to play including side story missions, head to head matches and more. You can even play story mode with a friend.
Hints are really helpful especially with younger players.
You can download the Nintendo eShop demo to sample Story mode, Mission mode, and even explore together with a second player! Your progress will even transfer to the full game if you decide to purchase.

I would like to play Pikman 3 Deluxe because my son is a fan and it looks like fun. My son likes Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

My son needs some new Switch games, and I know he’d love this one…especially because he could play with his younger cousin! His favorite Switch game right now is Octopath Traveler, which he has played with his Dad!
