Gift Guide: ANGRY BIRDS Go! Telepods Pig Rock Raceway Set (Giveaway)

By Heather

Have an Angry Birds fan at home? Or perhaps just a fan of cars and racetracks? Either way, this game aims to please and will. The recommended age for the Angry Birds Go! Telepods Pig Rock Raceway Set (say that three times fast) is 5 and up and it just so happens that my daughter just turned five last week. That didn’t stop her little brother from getting in on the action though.

If you’ve played the ever popular Angry Birds app you’re used to the pigs being the enemy. The game comes with two cars – one with an angry birds driver and the other with a pig driver. That was a little confusing to me because I thought it would be two Angry Birds, but I guess that doesn’t really matter.

The over 40-inch long track attaches in several pieces and will fall apart and need to be re-set up through a few rounds of playing. No worries though, it’s very easy to set up and no tools are required. It would probably work better on a hard floor but we set ours up on the carpet. The goal of the game is simply to race and try to knock down the pigs. Very easy for kids to do and a ton of fun. Watch our little instagram video here.

You can also download the Angry Birds Racing app which is a lot of fun on it’s own. The racing carts can interact with the game which is very cool. All you have to do is place the cart in the game piece and place that over your phone’s camera, and you can easily scan your car into the game.
