Last Saturday, I had the very rare opportunity to enjoy a child-free day out for the Getting Gorgeous Event in New York. It was sponsored by Degree Women and put together by the fabulous Audrey McClellan and Vera Sweeney.
Tina and I met up and drove to the train station together, where we ran into quite a few other bloggers that we know from our Philly group, making the hour train ride go by much more quickly.
The event certainly helped this mama feel gorgeous for a day. I’m so thankful to have been a part of it!

I so wish I could have gone! I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to do it, finding childcare for the day and all. I went to the one last year at BlogHer and it was great! I’m definitely going to get in on the next one that comes to NY–hopefully there will be another!
