Sephora is my candy store. If I happen to be there without the kids, I can spend hours in there shopping and comparing. I love these new beauty discoveries.
The KORRES Wild Rose Vitamin C Petal Peel ($64) is a 2-step brightening and resurfacing system. I have terrible pores so I need this! Chemical peels are too harsh for my sensitive skin. KORRES developed a powerful natural alternative to chemical peels with this advanced vitamin C system that helps smooth fine lines and discolorations to give skin instant radiance. It comes with an activating peel gel that cleanses and opens pores so active ingredients can work deeper. A 10% concentration of fruit, glycolic and lactic AHAs peel away dead skin cells and remove impurities without irritation. An equal concentration of healing aloe soothes and softens skin. Step 2, an intensive Brightening & Revealing Peel Mask, contains an additional dose of 10% AHAs and natural pomegranate enzymes for peeling, exfoliating and resurfacing action.
Pür Minerals Double Ego Dual Ended Eyeliners ($21): I like to stay pretty neutral with eye makeup. In the summer, I like to play with eyeliner and these Pür Minerals dual-ended eyeliner come in a variety of colors. A dry mineral tip offers smudge-proof definition for everyday eyes or a smoky look, while the liquid liner glides on with ease for bold, intense color.
With broad spectrum SPF 20, the Cargo Cosmetics Picture Perfect CC Cream ($34) not only hydrates, but protects the skin from the harsh sun for up to 72 hours of skin hydration! The CC Cream goes on white and adjusts to your specific skin tone as you rub it in and corrects dark spots, under eye circles, and redness! Just warm product between fingertips, then smooth over skin with hands and blend.
I finally removed my acrylics and can get back to doing my own nails. Emma and I enjoyed playing with Sally Hansen’s line of Insta-Ombre™ ($6) nail polishes. Available in eight glitter shades, this clever and innovative ombre-in-a-bottle makes it easy for women to achieve an ombre look by layering coats of polish.
Before applying the polish, we used the Sally Hansen big peel off base coat™ ($6). This is a game changer. No more worrying about staining nails with polish or having to use harsh nail polish remover. When you’re over the color, just peel it away. The first time I used this, the peeling started earlier than I had wanted, so I need to practice with this product, but I love the idea.
