I’m always on the hunt for things that make my home a little more comfortable, cleaner, and easier to manage. This week I wanted to share a few products that I have come my way that do just that.
My hair sheds so much that I’ve gotten used to running my hands through my scalp and I gather it so that it does not clog my shower drain. Even when doing that I still have to clean my drain. Then I heard about Drainwig. These are disposable little accessories for shower and bathtub drains that collect hair to prevent plumbing problems. All you do is pull it out a after a few months go by and dispose of it. Easy peasy! ($9.95 drainwig.com)
My kids were so excited to get Shower Wow! And to be honest, I’d love to get away from giving them baths so this is a great incentive for them to get showers in their own bathroom! Who wouldn’t want to watch a light show while taking a shower? I was surprised that it does not need batteries – it’s powered by water pressure! ($23 shipped, ShowerWow.com)
You know I love my kitchen accessories, and I have been wanting a nice neutral ice bucket for a long time. This one is big enough to chill champagne or use for ice and thanks to it’s double layer design, it is well insulated. It’s perfect, and it’s personalized! ($65, thestationerystudio.com)
Rubbermaid recently came out with the coolest product and it is just in time for football season! I love this party platter so much; I already used it for an end of summer get together and I know it will be used often this fall and winter! ($8.99 Rubbermaid.com)
I also love the Rubbermaid container set with Easy Find Lids™ Everything pops together for compact, easy storage. They are completely BPA free and dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe! Perfect for my famous buffalo chicken dip. ($25.99 Rubbermaid.com)
