Each week we enjoy sharing some of our favorite new products. It’s fun discovering new things, whether they’re meant to treat yourself or gifts for friends and family. Here are this week’s finds:
In our house, we have quite an extensive children’s library and this adorable new picture book, HEDGEHUGS by Steve Wilson and Lucy Trapper is a great new addition. The first of many hedgehug books to come, this is a very fun and sweet story that would make a great stocking stuffer for the holiday season. ($15, Amazon.com)
After ingesting and ungodly amount of Halloween candy last week, we have decided that it’s time to focus on eating right. We’re longtime fans of Way Better Snacks – they really are better for you than traditional snacks but they taste amazing. We just got to try two new yummy flavors, Apple Cinnamon and Spice and Ginger Snap. I’m not usually into sweet snacks, but the whole family enjoyed these! ($4, waybettersnacks.com)
As Umbreen Sheikh, founder of Wink Brow Bar, predicted, the tapered brow trend is in full swing this season,“We will definitely be seeing a continuation of the fuller brow this fall, but with a tapering at the end and a slight arch. This brow will be youthful but fearless. Those that cannot have these brows naturally will be able to have brow extensions to create them.” I’ve never had much luck with eyebrow pencils, but the smashbox brow tech to go is a different story. It’s a pencil on one side and gel brush on the other, and my brows look so natural after using it! ($28, Smashbox.com)
Like it or not, cold and flu season is upon us. We’re bound to catch something around here, one of these days. At least I’m prepared for the kids with the BeKOOOL non-medicated soft gel sheets. These adhesive and non-messy gel sheets are a wonderful alternative to the traditional messy washcloth or warm bath. Plus they feature your kids’ favorite Disney characters! ($4, http://bekoool.com)

My body is nourished with honey and spices, whatever water I can get into me, along with as many clean and organic foods as we can afford. My mind is nourished with mantras about self love, reading to learn, music to distract and give peace, Social media time gives me lots to laugh at and great inspiring memes and stories too.

I have to practice my daily yoga to keep my mind and body nourished. It nourishes my soul too since I just crave that time where I can stop and be in the moment and meditate on stretching my body. Not to mention it’s a great pain reliever, but just love how it slows me down and starts my day more centered.

For my son I give him drink mix that has all his daily nutrition and vitamins. For me, I am not very good at that. I try to eat healthy to get my daily nutrition and vitamins in me.
