One of my favorite things about blogging is discovering products I might never find otherwise. Food finds are among my favorites. I’m on a healthy lifestyle journey and I feel that only heightens my foodie-ness, really. Choices are much more carefully thought out and more deliberate than before.
We are thoroughly enjoying this month’s foodie finds.
GROSCHE Coffee

If you know me you know I love my morning coffee ritual. GROSCHE sells Fairtrade Certified and organic coffee. We received the Mexican Special, ($18) which is not as bold a coffee as I prefer, but a decent blend nonetheless. I can't wait to try their other blends. All coffees are sold as whole bean, and I love their hand grinder. ($37)
KUMANA Avocado Sauce

Inspired by a beloved Venezuelan staple that is traditionally served on grilled meats, sautéed veggies and sandwiches, Kumana is an avocado hot sauce that’s crafted from veggies and fruits such as avocados, fresh onion, bell pepper, cilantro, garlic and just a splash of vinegar. We've been adding it to eggs, tacos, burgers and even salads. Available in Be Original, Be Mango and Be Hot flavors. These are delicious low calorie sauces. ($9)
Whisps

Whether you're following a low card diet or you just love cheese, these Whisps are great! Made with only one wholesome ingredient, Cheese and without any artificial colors or flavors, gluten, wheat or sugar. ($4ea)
BOS organic iced tea

I love hot rooibos tea and was excited to try these. BOS is an organic Iced Tea made with Organic Rooibos and delicious natural lemon flavor. It is rich in antioxidants and naturally caffeine free. You can feel good about drinking it also because BOS plants & maintains 1 tree for every 2,000 cans sold. ($2.50)
TUSCANINI pasta

Dried pasta has been the mainstay of Italian cuisine for centuries. These 100% Durum Semolina pastas are bronze cut to create a porous, home-style texture that showcases the sauce in every bite. The high-end collection includes a variety of shapes: Gigli (ruffle-edged cones), Pennoni (a somewhat more substantial version of Penne), Trottole (“spinning top”), tricolor Conchiglie (seashells), and tricolor Fusilli (corkscrews). ($11)
Tahitian Pure Vanilla Bean Paste

Crafted from Nielsen-Massey’s Tahitian Pure Vanilla Extract, along with real bean specks from the vanilla pod. Tahitian vanilla is a favorite of pastry chefs around the world for its floral, fruity flavor profile that is often described as cherry-like. The paste’s thick consistency (similar to molasses) enables you to add more delicious vanilla flavor without thinning out batters or sauces. ($32)
Blooming tea

We love this gift set of 12 heart shaped blooming teas. Loose green tea leaves are bound with natural edible flowers and hand-sewn into heart shaped tea flowers. They unfurl into beautiful exquisite flowers which steep your tea with healthy antioxidants once hot water is poured over them. These blooming teas make an experience out of tea time! ($23)
