Frank Coffee Scrub Review

By Jennifer

photho (1)

Want to meet Frank?

He’s a simple coffee scrub made with cold-pressed almond oil and a custom arabica coffee blend. frank comes all the way from Australia, but has now launched in the U.S. And it appears that it already has an amazing following so I was excited to check it out.

For a mom on the go, it can become difficult to indulge in “me” time, so frank is an easy way to get my body and mind feeling spa-fresh and rejuvenated without an appointment (who has time for that anyway?!). I’m into scrubs right now, making sure my skin feels softs and looks refreshed – even when I don’t necessarily feel so myself!

The scrub is a great, all-natural exfoliator, as the coffee grinds, sugar and sea salt buff away dry, dead skin, leaving bods silky smooth. In addition, it apparently stimulates blood flow, which targets stretch marks, cellulite and acne.

I tried the Original (it also comes in coconut & grapeseed and cacao) – here are its ingredients:
coffea robusta seed powder (coffee), prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, water (aqua), sodium chloride (salt), sucrose (brown sugar), citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) oil, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin e), fragrance (parfum)* * natural

The scrub comes in these cute packets.

Frank Coffee Scrub Review

As expected, it looks and feels like coffee!

Frank Coffee Scrub Review

Only a little scoop with your hand is needed to rub around any problem areas.  Ideally you’re supposed to wait 5-10 min to let it dry but I find that hard since the water hits it before then.  Regardless, the scrub feels great and leaves your skin feeling extra-moisturized from the oils.  Also, it has a distinct coffee smell (although my daughter asked why the bathroom smelled like chocolate after I used it – ha).

My only issue with this scrub are the remnants it leaves at the bottom of the shower! It washes away, but my daughter asked me what the black dots were so I clearly missed a spot. Not a big issue, just make sure you point the showerhead to clear it all out!

The Original is only $14.95 and last a long time – Purchase online at Frank.

Check out their Instagram and Facebook pages for some great updates and lots of pictures (some before/after pics of those with some skin issues in you want to check out some results).

Samples were received for review.

I love a good scrub that’s gentle enough not to scratch but still works to leave skin soft. I’ve never tried a coffee scrub before but I’d certainly like to!

I’d try it just for the coffee scent. That’s one of my favorite things to smell.
