Electronics are all the rage and there is a time and a place for those devices but for parents looking for a better balance when it comes to the little people, Smart Toy® from Fisher-Price could be the answer. This huggable plush arrived a few days ago and I was surprised how quickly Ryan took to it. At 3 years old, I think he is the perfect age for this toy which provides high-tech play without a screen!
My children love their teddy bears, but quickly bore of them. I get that they are soft and cute but they simply don’t stimulate their active minds. This guy offers exciting, engaging and meaningful interactive play helping to create unforgettable memories through storytelling, embarking on fun adventures and guiding activities. It will even track verbal response and movement, thanks to the app and speech recognition software that it’s equipped with.
I was worried that it would take some work on my part to make this toy do what it’s supposed to, but as soon as it was charged, Ryan was off on an adventure soaring through the sky.
Smart Toy was named one of the hot holiday toys from Toys R Us for 2015 and we can see why. It’s priced at $99.99 and is available where toys are sold but I found it on sale on Amazon where prime shipping is available so it will arrive in time for Christmas!
