Breakfast is always an adventure in my home.  Most of the time we’re in a rush, getting dressed, packing bags, etc., so we’re always looking for something easy to prepare but also nutritious.  We all know how important breakfast is for us, so it’s important to have our kids have a healthy start to their day as well.

According to the AAP’s “Healthy Children” magazine, breakfast:

·         Provides a golden opportunity to load up on fiber (in the form of cereals and whole wheat breads)
·         Can help with weight control
·         Has also been linked to lower cholesterol levels

·         Is a great opportunity to feed your child bone building calcium and vitamin D

Ella’s Kitchen has a great line of products and has recently added Baby Brekkie and Wakey Wakey baby cereal to their product range to help bring quality and delicious breakfast choices for even the pickiest eaters.

Baby Brekkie ( from 6 months) – comes in Banana, Mango, Pear + Blueberry and Prune + Raisin Baby Brekkie

The innovative packaging allows for portion control and the organic ingredients break down over time to help keep their little tummies full! As babies are ready to explore new tastes and textures along the tiny taste bud journey, Ella’s textured multigrain cereal helps encourage babies to begin to chew, while the real fruit flavors delight young palates without all of the added sugars and nasties. Baby Brekkie uniquely combines pasteurized yogurt, brown rice and fruit puree for a nutrition packed meal.

Look at all these great products!

I can’t wait until next month when my newborn is old enough to try the Wakey wakey.  It will definitely be one of her first foods.

My older daughter LOVES all squeeze things (yogurts, fruit and veggies), but the “Red One” from Ella’s Kitchen is her new favorite:

Ella’s Kitchen also has some great, nutritional bars, biscuits and cookies for the older kids.  Here is one of the baby cookies for 7+ months:

My kids love anything that comes in a pouch better than the same exact thing that does not come in one lol.
