EatSmart Precision Voyager Luggage Scale (Review + Giveaway)

By Heather

It was madness last week trying to prepare for the Disney Social Media Moms trip.   Early in the week Emma and I shopped for a few essentials, and then she had an allergy scare, and then I got a stomach virus (again).

The day before our departure, I had to force myself to start packing and I was mindful of the 40 pound weight limit on our checked bags.  The Precision Voyager Luggage Scale by EatSmart was a huge moneysaver, especially when we realized that my husband’s bag was overweight on the morning of our flight.  For a digital readout of your bag’s weight, you strap the buckle through your suitcase handle, lift and press the ‘on’ button.

We didn’t want to pay through the nose—that’s what we’d be doing all week in Disney World, after all.  So going by what the Precision Voyager read, we added some of the heavier items to my daughter’s bag, and that did the trick.

But I must admit to my skepticism.

The big test came at the Atlantic City International Airport check-in desk.  The bags in question were at the exact limit, 40.00–phew!  I couldn’t believe how accurate this little device was.

My only mistake: Not packing it in the suitcase.  But by then, we’ll be used to emptying our wallets.

This luggage scale is available for $19.95 on amazon.

We just got back from a trip to the Caribbean that this would have been very helpful for. Our next trip will be to the Ozark Mountains.
