Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

Your friends will consume these yummy cookies combining lots of chocolate and peanut butter.

Serves: Two dozen
  • 1½ cups unbleached all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup peanut butter morsels
  • 1 cup milk chocolate or semi-sweet morsels.
  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside.
  3. Beat butter and sugars with an electric mixer in a large bowl.
  4. Add eggs, vanilla, and peanut butter, beating until smooth.
  5. Now combine the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Carefully stir in morsels and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes to firm the batter.
  7. Drop heaping teaspoonfuls of cookie batter onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for about 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
