A delicious homemade garlic bread with a twist.

  • 2½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1¼ cup warm milk
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 head of garlic, minced
  • 3-4 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • ⅓ cup parmesan, grated
  • 1 stick butter, softened
  1. Mix warm water with yeast and sugar. Let sit about 15 minutes until foamy.
  2. Pour into mixing bowl with do0ugh hook attached
  3. Add flour and salt and mix until a ball forms.
  4. Knead dough before coating with oil and placing in a bowl.
  5. Cover and place in a warm area to rise for about an hour.
  6. Cover and let rise again for an hour.
  7. Roll out into a rectangle on a floured surface and smear the garlic butter spread on top and roll it.
  8. Slice down the middle leaving an inch or two attached at the top.
  9. Make a twist braid and smoosh it into a greased loaf pan.
  10. Cover and let rise for an hour.
  11. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 35-40 minutes.
