Christmas in July Sparkling Snow Dough

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup salt
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • glitter and food coloring (optional)
  1. Mix the first five ingredients together in a small pot.
  2. If you're adding food coloring, add it now.
  3. Stir everything together well before turning on stovetop.
  4. Over medium heat, stir mixture constantly until the dough starts to pull away from the sides.
  5. Immediately turn dough out onto max paper and allow a few minutes to cool.
  6. Knead the dough well, add glitter and continue kneading until you're pleased with the desired look.
  7. Enjoying playing with the dough onto a protected surface.
  8. You may store in an air tight container.
