Have you heard of DownEast basics?  If not, you can thank me later.  This online clothing retailer offers beautiful, modern clothing at prices that won’t empty your bank account.
When I looked through the February catalog I saw the most flirty, colorful pieces that are sure to resuscitate bland winter wardrobes everywhere.  You’ll be fully prepared for Spring with their vast selection of clothing and accessories that are classic with just a touch of trendy. So you’ll be way more hip than Mary Poppins, but you won’t end up looking like Lady Gaga either!
Usually Spring really sneaks up on me, and I end up wearing winter attire all the way through.  For some reason I tend to get more into fashion by Summer.  This year, my closet is going to be brighter, thanks to DownEast basics.
I just adore the colorful outfit made when combining the Frosted Flowers Cardigan in pink with the Still Life Skirt.  Finally, I have something nice and bright to wear for Easter that will look fantastic through the season and even into Summer.
On the right, you see the Finest Pearls Top paired with the Daffodil Dots Skirt.  This outfit is feminine and flirty without being too cutesy and “young” looking.  You know what I mean.  It’s pretty, but I still look like an adult!  It will look even better in the summer with a nice dark tan. :)
I’m so happy I discovered DownEast basics.  The clothing is very true-to-size using their sizing chart so you can order with confidence.  I’ll be back for many more online shopping sprees – since I actually can afford to!
