DIY Bubble Solution

After a terrible week weather-wise, it’s finally warm enough to let the kids play outside in the yard. My kids are already planning their adventures in the great outdoors, and our garage is fully stocked with sidewalk chalk, water balloons, pool rafts and bubble solution. In the past I have shelled out some serious cash while trying to keep a supply of bubbles for the kids on hand. Did you know that you can actually make it yourself?

DIY Bubble Solution

With a few simple ingredients, most of which are probably already found in your home – you can make your own kids safe bubble solution. I managed to pick up some all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS® for the laundry room while doing my Walmart shopping run. This detergent is one of the first to actually include a list of ingredients right on the label so that you know exactly what is in the formula that cleans the clothing your family wears.

DIY Bubble Solution

This particular formula is sulfate-free and available in either a fresh scent or a fragrance free variety in 36.4oz/28ld bottles. This time I opted for fragrance free, because I didn’t want out bubbles to have a scent.

Step 1
The first step is to pour six cups of water into a large bowl with a pour spout if possible.

Step 2
Mix in 1 cup of all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS® and slowly stir the ingredients together, without creating foam or bubbles in the process.

Step 3
Now measure 1 tablespoon of glycerin OR 1/4 cup of corn syrup and slowly stir that in.

Step 4
Pour the solution into bottles and get ready for lots of bubbly fun!

DIY Bubble Solution

NEW sulfate free all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS® delivers a powerful clean without harshness. Infuse fabrics with essential, proven and effective ingredients that clean deeply and remove tough stains – the same stains your kids will be decorating their clothes with this Spring whether they be from baseball or back yard grass stains. So whether you want some good clean fun or just want to clean, pick up all® fresh clean ESSENTIALS® on the top shelf the next time you’re at Walmart and save $1.50 while you’re at it. This offer is valid from May 1 – July 31 or while supplies last.

I haven’t used all in a long time. I usually opt for arm and hammer.
