A few years ago, our little family of three visited Lancaster and rode on the old Strasburg steam train. It was a lot of fun, and we even saw a peek of Thomas but never got a chance to visit on a Thomas Day. I’m sure she would have loved it then, but she never got into the show. Ryan, however loves Thomas the Train.
We’re so excited to have a Day Out With Thomas and see Thomas talk for the very first time! Before or after the ride you can enjoy a slew of fun activities so you really can make a whole day of it! Activities include:
- Storytelling
- Video Viewing
- Temporary Tatoos
- Wooden Play Tables
- Imagination Station
- Photo opportunity with Sir Topham Hatt
- Cranky Car Rides
- Pint-Sized Pufferbelly Rides
- Pump Car Rides
- Track Car Rides
- LO&S (motor car) Rides

We’re going on June 20th! We’re very excited about the new talking feature!
This is something I wish I did with my kiddos when they were littler. We live right behind a train and Zoe loves it! And she was a Thomas fan for a long time :) Looks like fun.
My kids loved Day out with Thomas! We should do it in June to mark the end of the school year.
That’s what we were thinking! September would be too crazy with the start of school.
My oldest was so into Thomas when he was little. Boy, would he have LOVED that!
My girls have always wanted to go and check out Thomas! How cute
We’ve yet to do a Day out with Thomas.. the kids would absolutely love it though, I’m sure! What a great memory you’ve made for your family.
I did Day out with Thomas with my boys when they were a bit younger a couple of times and it was awesome!
