For months, whenever I asked Emma what she wanted for breakfast the answer was always yogurt. But recently she’s changed her mind and will only eat yogurt tubes when frozen, and even then she doesn’t finish so I end up tossing them. What a waste.
We received a delivery last week and I wasn’t certain how she’d feel about the new Danimals® SuperStars Greek Yogurt. The packaging must have intrigued her because after she ate her lunch she kept asking if she could eat one as a snack. So I let her choose between the two flavors we received, cotton candy or strawberry banana, and of course she chose the cotton candy. I was just happy she chose to eat yogurt instead of crackers or pretzels for a change.
Imagine my surprise when she polished off the entire container and then asked for the other one and then quickly finished that one too! Honest to God. I said, “Girl, you can eat as many of these as you’d like!” Momma’s gonna have to buy some more, stat.
Each Danimals® SuperStars Low-fat Greek Yogurt contains 10 grams of protein (25% daily value) per container and also provides calcium and Vitamin D. There are no artificial colors or flavors and no high fructose corn syrup.
My kids are big snackers, and like I said they tend to choose junk food more often than not. The only way I normally get Emma to eat something healthy is to bribe her to eat it before she’s allowed to have the less nutritious snack. I’m so glad I found something we both love that doesn’t require convincing! Emma doesn’t like cheese so this will be our go-to protein and calcium-rich snack from now on.
Danimals® SuperStars is available in 4oz 4-count packs in five delicious flavors made specifically for kids, including: Strawberry Slide, Strawberry Banana Sprint, Cotton Candy Thrill, Mixed Berry Half-Pipe and Cherry Rush.
