Last year, I wrote my thoughts on the Sodastream Genesis soda maker.  This appliance turns your plain old water into sparkling flavored water or soda in minutes.  There are a great many flavors and varieties available like apple mango and orange pineapple as well as the traditional cola and ginger ale flavors, but what I liked most of all is that it’s a great eco-friendly alternative to buying soda in a bottle.
