After a very productive morning shopping in the mall for birthday presents (scored some great deals with coupons!), Emma and I hit CVS Pharmacy on the way home. I’d been wanting to get there because they’re having a great sale on Huggies diapers, and I had coupons, plus I had some extrabucks to spend. I usually buy my diapers at Costco, but you can’t beat this deal:
CVS Bargain Trip 8/13/09
This is what I got:
2 Jumbo Packages of Huggies Diapers – $18.00
2 Boxes of Honey Nut Cherrios – $5.00
1 CVS 3 oz. skin lotion – $1.49
Total would have been $24.49 plus tax. My grand total: $5.61!!
Plus I received $4.00 in Extra bucks, and a coupon for $4 off any $20 purchase!!!
How did I do it? I used two $3.00 off coupons on each of the diaper packs, a $1.00 off coupon on the cherrios, 10.49 in Extrabucks, and the lotion was my free gift for using my ExtraCare card in August. Anyone who has one of these rewards cards and uses it this month will receive a free gift! If you’re not familiar with Extrabucks, check it out here. You can score some great deals at CVS using Extrabucks in addition to using manufacturers coupons. Just don’t misplace those Extrabucks, guard them with your life!
