Holiday Gift Guide: Cuddl Duds Layerwear {Review & Giveaway}

Isn’t it funny how we wear heavy coats, scarves and hats to keep warm in the winter, but we have the same pair of jeans on our legs that were a wardrobe staple in the Spring?  It doesn’t seem logical, but there aren’t a great many options for our legs.

Dressing in layers can help. Cuddl Duds are nothing like that scratchy thermal underwear of the past.  Instead, they are soft, comfortable knits perfect for layering.

There are several types of layering options at Cuddl Duds, but I received a set from the ActiveLayer line. This line is great for those who are active like runners, cyclists, or mothers.  The fabric has Dri-Release® technology that will wick away sweat from the skin, and the spandex allows  for stretch.   I tried the leggings with a pair of boots and they looked great, but the fabric was very thin and I feel best for layering beneath pants.

The top is extra long, which I love.  But the best feature is the thumbholes in the cuffs.  They keep your sleeves from riding up when you’re adding a layer.  It’s genius, really – no more fiddling with your sleeves!   The long-sleeve top has a v-neck with a very high neckline which is perfect.

What’s great about these pieces is that you can wear them all day underneath your clothes, and take off your outer layers when you arrive home and lounge around in the Cuddle Duds.
