Whenever Sesame Place comes up in conversation, Emma’s face lights up. Yesterday when grandma asked her about our last visit there, she exclaimed, “Elmo!” – her favorite of all residents on the street.
We took her for the first time last year and Emma had a ball. In fact, we all enjoyed the day so much that we had plans to purchase passes for the 2011 season. As you can imagine, we were all over the moon when Sesame Place asked me to become one of this season’s six ambassadors.
After kicking off the season on opening day, we’ve visited several times. We’ve even gotten Emma to go on some of the rides on recent visits. Between the characters, rides, shows and the water attractions, there is so much fun to be had at Sesame Place.
But Emma’s favorite thing to do at Sesame Place is party during the parade.
Celebrate Christmas in July at Sesame Place and learn all about the park’s whole new season, A Very Furry Christmas. During this full-day celebration, Sesame Place will take on a holiday feel with holiday decorations, festive music and Christmas flair. You will be greeted at the front gate by a new Christmas tree topiary and even snow! Sesame Place will also host a “Get Into the Spirit” Costume Contest, so be sure to wear your holiday finest, which could include snowmen, Santa, elves or general winter themes, for your chance to win great Christmas prizes. Also, be sure to stop by the park’s restaurants and gift shops to get a peek at the new holiday menu and some of our Christmas merchandise.
