Chloe’s Closet DVD Review

By Jennifer

Chloe'sClosetSuperBestFriends_DVD_200x200

Caroline is definitely getting tired of her typical TV shows, so I was happy to show her this DVD on a recent trip.  She loved it! She definitely related to the adventures – one of her favorite games right now is playing dress-up, including me pretending i’m the monster while she is the superhero!  It’s nice for her to have a diverse set of characters to relate to and look up to, beyond the typical princesses (although she still loves her princesses).

Chloe, a four-year-old girl, embarks on magical adventures in her closet with her friends and toys during dress-up time.  Dress up play is where Chloe unleashes her vivid and fanciful imagination, embarking upon fantastical adventures right in her own bedroom. These exciting adventures take our heroine far and wide, but the irrepressible Chloe is rarely afraid or worried. Chloe is a brave and confident, sensitive girl who listens to her heart and trusts that it will lead her into wonderful and whimsical places — places with new things to see and do and feel; places with plenty of big giggles and over-the-top fun. Chloe also has a strong interest in math and tremendously enjoys deploying and practicing the math skills she is learning. Chloe’s speech reflects her excitable, curious nature and insatiable appetite for life.

Chloe’s Closet Super Best Friends DVD for pre-school children, was announced as a recipient of a Parents’ Choice Award® by the widely recognized U.S. based Parents Choice Foundation.   Chloe’s Closet, the half-hour animated series airs on Sprout.

Super Best Friends currently retails for $8.99.

Check out the Sprout website for some great free games and printables.
