Back when we were just a couple, my husband and I loved to dine at Chili’s for their casual fare. We always looked forward to the Southwestern Eggrolls, loving the fact that it’s an appetizer that can be evenly split. Now that baby makes three, Chili’s is a family favorite.
The restaurant is very kid-friendly, offering activity books and crayons to occupy the kiddos while you enjoy your food. Mostly, I enjoy being served up a tasty meal without having to cook and clean!
We recently stole an afternoon together and headed out for lunch at Chili’s. Before heading there, I joined their email club, which gets you a free order of chips and queso. Woot! My husband and I being as exciting as Toot and Puddle, ordered the same exact thing. Yep, look out–we are about to get out of control!
All joking aside, Chili’s has a new fresh pairing menu which offers a tremendous value to customers. You pick one each of the entrees and appetizers listed. We chose the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap and the Southwestern Egg Rolls, and our entire meal was just $9.99 per person. The wrap was just meh, for us though. It was mostly wrap and needed a ton more filling. The egg rolls were great as usual.
We have about $25.00 left on our gift card so next time around I’m going to be safe and order the fajitas – always a good choice at Chili’s.
Overall it was a good time, and a nice treat for us to get out and enjoy an afternoon.
