{Free summer printable} Celebrating the last day of school with a sweet buffet

The last few months have been hectic to put it nicely. Today is finally the last day of school. There are no more games, recitals or homework and we feel like celebrating. We can think of many excuses to throw a party, but this one fits the bill right now.

We picked up some sweet treats at our local Walmart for the occasion. Setting up is always a lot of fun and we usually do it outside on the patio, our entertaining sweet spot. I used glass jars and dishes for the candy and set up the SNICKERS® Ice Cream Bars and M&M’s® Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches on platters.

SNICKERS® Ice Cream Bars are a favorite around here. I could eat them all day, every day. Yum!

Almost as important as the food is the decor. I will usually include some sort of printable in the mix. I put together this summer word art printable and I think it completes the buffet table in a fun way. I’m really happy with the way it turned out. We also scattered some fun summer tools for the kids to enjoy. Chalk, bubbles and squirters are always a hit at any party, and as always the bounce house to help them burn off all of that extra energy.

Now all we need are our sweet friends to join us for a party later this afternoon. And for help hosting more parties, we found some extra coupons inside of the ice cream boxes!
