Capture everyday moments with your extraordinary child

By Heather

skyride

“I love you with my whole heart.” This is Emma’s phrase for me lately. She’s a special girl, who truly does love everyone with her whole heart and soul. She may frustrate me with her messy bedroom, tendency to leave doors open and carelessness, but she makes up for it by being a good little person. If there’s one valuable lesson I can teach my children, it’s to be kind. There are so many things I love about my first born, but here are a few of the highlights:

She’s kind
Emma doesn’t really need to be taught to be kind; it’s an innate attribute inside of her. Everywhere we go, she makes a fast friend. She shows genuine concern for others. Now that she’ll be entering kindergarten this fall, I hope she stays sweet and untainted.

She’s creative
She loves creating arts and crafts, just like her momma. And she really does create some beautiful works – I’ve even framed a few.

She’s funny
My daughter likes to laugh, and to make others laugh too. She gets me belly laughing all of the time and the silliness is contagious. You can always count on Emma for comic relief.

She’s helpful
Emma will always lend a helping hand even when she hasn’t been asked. She’ll see me struggling to get dinner on the table and she runs right over to help, whether it’s keeping Ryan occupied, or running over to pickup something I dropped.

Your kid is extraordinary. Show them how much you enjoy every moment together by creating a special video of your own!

Your daughter sounds much like my oldest daughter. Now that she’s an adult, it’s amazing to see how those qualities carry into adulthood.

You sound clearly over the moon for her. That makes her, and you very lucky. :)
