Every mom knows how frustrating buying a wardrobe of maternity wear can be. Your ever changing shape and the changing seasons across that 10 month period make it a costly investment for clothing you may never wear again, or maybe only one or twice more. If you buy for fall and winter, your next baby may be a spring/summer pregnancy. Or styles may have changed by that time. And it’s not like the clothing is inexpensive either! I would have loved to find Bump to Bump Maternity site while I was expecting.
It’s an online consignment boutique for like new maternity wear bought and sold, mom to mom. Besides gently used maternity wear, they also offer some new selections, too. There are nursing items (clothing, covers, books, etc.) and gifts too, including Teething Bling. Big bonus: these girls will upcycle your wedding gown into a breathtaking baptism gown for your little one. Something I did not do but wish I had. Maybe next time.
For now, because I’m not expecting but I am a nursing mom of a teething baby, I hunted for deals on Bump to Bump and this is what I found: a super cute gently used Motherhood Maternity maternity/nursing nightie with matching robe for $10 – yes, I said 10 bucks! – and a new moonstone grey Teething Bling bangle bracelet I’ll be rocking this fall for sure. The nightie/robe set was exactly what I wished I had in the hospital last year, but it will work for my nursing mom status in the interim, and I’ll put it to good use in the future, as well. Fortunately I don’t feel funny about wearing maternity clothing post-pregnancy – if it’s comfy and cute, count me in!
Pictured is the Teething Bling bangle bracelet in moonstone. Jack just loves mouthing this – and having it on is not only fashionable, but it’s double duty as a toy on the go. Score!
Bump to Bump shipping was reasonable and the items arrived very quickly. I was very pleased with my purchases and I’ll definitely be visiting the site in the future when the need arises! Happy shopping!
