BODYARMOR Sports Drinks

By Heather

This is a sponsored post.

bodyarmordrinksWhen you’re taking care of your body by exercising and eating nutritious whole foods, it’s counterproductive to ingest one of those artificial sports drinks. They may taste pretty good, but they do more harm than good.

Coconut water is a go-to for me when I need to be hydrated or when my stomach feels a little raw. I basically only drink water or coconut water but when I want something a bit sweeter, I will reach for a sports drink. BODYARMOR is a premium sports drink which contains potassium packed electrolytes, vitamins and my beloved coconut water.

BODYARMOR

My husband is big into body building. He has to watch his sodium intake for several reasons, and the BODYARMOR drinks are all low in sodium and contain nothing artificial which is almost unheard of in the sports drink aisle.  No wonder top athletes like Mike Trout, Andrew Luck, James Harden, Buster Posey, Rob Gronkowski, Kevin Love, Richard Sherman, Skylar Diggins and Sydney LeRoux are fans.

The BODYARMOR drinks are available in 7 flavors: fruit punch, orange mango, strawberry banana, tropical punch, lemon lime, mixed berry and grape. My favorite is tropical punch – but they are all taste fantastic.

BODYARMOR

BODYARMOR is available at Target, Wegmans, Wawa, Sunoco A Plus and Heritage’s stores. Head over to the brand’s facebook page for a free coupon before you head to the store.

I usually drink water and not sports drinks. This one seems to be better than some of the others I have seen

I think I’d like to try the strawberry banana flavor. I’ve had it in a yogurt, but never in a drink.

Sports drinks taste funny most of the time. I’m glad you found some that seem to taste better than most.

Honestly, I am not a fan of plain coconut water. However, I would totally try the flavored coconut waters like these! They do sound a lot healthier than those other sports drinks that actually leave me feeling thirstier after drinking them!

I always drink coconut water when I am not drinking plain water. The coconut water is fantastic

I’m glad you found something you like. Sports drinks are very hard to choose from.
