I enjoy hosting parties and the process leading up to them. We usually choose a theme and I try to be as faithful to that theme as possible, giving special attention to every last detail. The invitation is important because it provides a teeny first glimpse for prospective party guests, like a sneak preview if you will
In the past I have made my own handmade invitations or designed and printed my own. For special occasions, I have tried many stationery providers from value brands to high end lines. In late Spring my son will turn the milestone five and my daughter will have her first holy communion. Two big events and they’re weeks apart. We’ll be attending other parties in the weeks between them. Needless to say, there won’t be time to design much of anything.
Graduation season is just a few short months away and many of you are already starting to think about graduation cards. Basic Invite looks like an incredible company to look to for custom graduation announcements. Given all of the extras included that few other stationery makers offer, I have to wonder why this company wants to be called ‘basic’. Don’t be fooled, this stationery line is anything but. Here are just a few examples.
Have you ever seen a card that you love, but it’s not quite the right shade of green? Basic Invite has available an Almost Unlimited Array of Colors. Customers are able to preview invitations instantly online.
Not only do you have color options when it comes to the printed design, Basic Invite also has over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes available for truly customized cards and invitations. The envelope is the very first glimpse of your party after all. Plus, all of their envelopes are peel and seal so the envelopes can be quickly and securely closed. No more licking that terrible glue.
Last year I ordered cards from a brand I’d used before and loved, but I was disappointed with the card stock I chose. That’s the hardest item to visualize. You might love the design but be unhappy with the end product. I love that Basic Invite allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation so they can see exactly how it will print as well as the paper quality before they ever have to place their final order.
Basic Invite provides Free Address Collection Service. Request your addresses with just three simple steps. Share a link, collect addresses, and get free envelope printing. Now that’s convenient!
I was disappointed that I had been unable to find communion invitations on Basic Invite, but I will be checking back soon to see if they are added. We’ll also give them a try for our birthday invitations, photo graduation announcements and holiday cards too.

These invites look so pretty! I’ll soon be celebrating my first baby girls birthday and I was thinking of getting some actual invites. This was perfect timing and gave me an idea of what it would look like!

Basic Invite is a new brand for me. I will have to follow them on social and look for sales. Loving their variety of items and there is ALWAYS an excuse for a pretty paper invite.

These look so fun. I love the variety. I remember the days when online ordering of invitations was complicated and costly. How far we’ve come! I will definitely keep these in mind for my stepdaughter’s next birthday party and for mine ;) . Tea party all the way!
