This summer we plan on doing what we always do. We’ll be spending most of our time frolicking on the beaches of Long Beach Island. It’s such a joy to play with my own children on the very beaches where spent my childhood. This is our happy place.
We visited yesterday with our newest sunscreen products in tow. We weren’t at the beach very long, but you can get a burn very quickly these days, whether the sun is out or not. Yesterday there was not a cloud in the sky, and before the kids went out onto the sand or in the water, we applied the Banana Boat® Sport Performance®Lotion Sunscreen with Powerstay Technology. It is light weight, swear resistant up to 80 minutes and won’t run into the eyes which is great. We always use a minimum of 2 tablespoons of sunscreen to our bodies and we reapply often – at least every 2 hours and always right after coming out of the water.
When the we needed to re-apply, we used SunComfort Clear UltraMist®Sunscreen. This is more of an everyday sunscreen, but what I love most about this is that it allows for easy sand removal so that we don’t take the beach home with us. It also provides moisturizers to help skin from drying out due to chlorine, salt water and sun.
As for me, I like to get a bit of color. The Banana Boat® Dry Oil Clear UltraMist® Sunscreen is perfect. It is a lightweight dry oil that doesn’t get greasy and moisturized my dry skin.

Sun screen is an essential for my beach outings. The dry oil spray would be really nice.

I have the sport sunscreen and love it. I’m a faithful sunscreen user throughout the summer!
The Banana Boat spray sunscreens are a favourite here too. I like that I can easily get these on the kids even when they are racing around and playing at the beach.
YOu can never be too safe with sun protection. We really like Banana Boat products here.
I love Banana Boat products. I didn’t know they made a dry oil; I’d love to try that for myself!
We have been using this brand forever I think. My husband really loves this brand so much. I don’t think I am ever without sunscreen – very light skin.
