When I attended mass last weekend, I noticed that our church was collecting school supplies for needy children. In a world with such excess in every which way, it’s things like this that serve as a reminder of how fortunate I am. Can you imagine not being able to afford something as simple as school supplies for your children? Or the embarrassment that their children would feel being in a class where other kids have the latest and greatest accessories for back-to-school?
After seeing the collection box, I knew I wanted to do something to help. The first thought that popped into my head was Carolina Pad. I absolutely adore the products that I reviewed for them back in January. I decided to reach out to the company about doing a product review so that I could donate their products to the cause. Not only was Carolina Pad interested, they also wanted to send their own donation directly to my church. Isn’t that wonderful of them? It really makes me happy when companies I already love go and make me love them even more. For their philanthropy and generosity, thank you Carolina Pad!
Now as for the products–amazingly stylish as usual. Carolina Pad sent me products from the Studio C collection, which are a part of their line which is exclusive to Wal-Mart stores. The prices might be rolled-back, but the style and quality are top-notch.
Everything is gorgeous. I would never have thought I’d use that word to describe school supplies, but these products from Carolina Pad are so much more than that. They’re colorful and fun. They almost make you want to do some work! My favorite?
The Date Planner. It’s front and center in the top photograph, and here is what it looks like inside. This is a product that would be so helpful in my daily life, planning my family’s weekly schedule and tracking our list of to-do’s. Ideal also for a busy high school or college student.
Also in the package was a binder, 2-pocket folders, 1-subject notebook, an Ideal book, a composition book, a ballpoint pen pack and earth-friendly pencils.
