It’s here. Kindergarten starts next week. We’re so busy trying to squeeze in last minute summer fun that we haven’t even shopped yet for back-to-school clothes which Emma is in desperate need of. Thank goodness we planned ahead on footwear from Umi Shoes.
Whenever I have to choose a pair from Umi Shoes, I’m always torn between the boys and girls styles. I couldn’t resist this short Chiara II boot for Emma. It’s going to look adorable with so many outfits from jeans to leggings to dresses; such a versatile boot!
Emma complained that the boots were bit uncomfortable at first. I think we’re all used to wearing flip flops over the summer and it is a big adjustment when you start wearing regular footwear again. But I explained to her that leather stretches and that the more she wears her new boots, the more comfortable they will become.
