April GlossyBox Review (May’s box includes a $25 Gift Card!)

 

I celebrated a birthday last week. It was a biggie, number 35, eeek. Remember how exciting it was celebrating birthdays as a kid? The anticipation over what presents you’d be unwrapping that day was my favorite feeling. That’s how it is every month when I see the pretty pink-and-black GlossyBox on my doorstep.

This is my second GlossyBox. I loved the March goodies, so this box had a lot to live up to. There wasn’t any jewelry in this box, but there was lip gloss! I have a slight lip gloss obsession, and inside the March box was a full-size gloss.

Aqua Spa Relax Body Creme
I can always use lotions and creams for my dry skin. I love the natural lavender and chamomile scent. This is perfect for Spring to moisturize legs, arms and feet – and dry hands after gardening. The full size version is $10 for 9 oz.

LA Splash Cosmetics Eyeshadow Base and Sealer (Full-size)
Before I apply shadows, I like to use a base. This one gives your skin the slightest bit of stickiness to help shadows stay put. It can also be used for eye glitter. I love this product! Value: $9

Ciaté paint pot (Full-size)
While I wasn’t all that crazy about the shade, these little paint pots are so adorably packaged. It’s still not my color, but I think I can roll with it this summer. Value: $15

Caldrea Apricot Body Wash 
I’m not a huge body wash user anymore, but this one smells absolutely delightful. The full size version is $18 for 11.5 oz.

Finally, my favorite item in this box is this amazing lip gloss. This gloss is the perfect neutral shade and I love that it’s very light and doesn’t feel too thick and heavy. Value: $24.50 – more than the cost of the entire box!
