Anteater Bug Vac by Uncle Milton Toys (Review)

By Heather

unclemiltonlogoOne thing my daughter gets from me is her fascination with bugs. At least that’s how I was when I was her age. When my mother was planting bulbs, I was out there right alongside her picking the worms out of the dirt and playing with caterpillars. I still think nature is pretty cool, but from a much safer distance!

When Emma received the Anteater Bug Vac she had no idea what it was. But once I showed her the ropes, she was hooked and has been ever since she received this back in May. Basically it’s a vacuum for bugs, if you will. Just like an anteater slurps up the ants, this nifty toy scoops up tiny bugs so that you can observe them through a removable plastic box. It has a magnifier which enables you to get a real close look of the living creatures without actually getting your hands dirty. My kinda toy!

The Anteater Bug Vac is part of the National Geo WILD collection and it’s our favorite Uncle Milton toy yet. It’s available for purchase at UncleMilton.com for $24.95. Uncle Milton toys is one of our favorite toy brands. We love it because of their educational nature and ability to make learning fun for kids. That’s what it’s all about! Check out our Earth in my Room review that we did last Christmas.

We received a complementary sample for consideration.

My son is constantly digging around the yard for bugs. He would love this!

My boys would love this!! They could spend hours outside collecting bugs – which they usually do in my Tupperware.
