My kids love seeing animals and sea life. We visit Adventure Aquarium a few times per year and there is always something new and interesting to see. The aquarium is located along the waterfront in Camden, which affords us amazing views of the Philadelphia skyline, Delaware River and bridges.
Emma and Ryan run immediately to the tanks to see the fish upon entering. As we walked through we found turtles, croccodiles, lobster, seahorses, tropical fish, and so much more.
We made our way over to the divers who taught us about different hand signals used to communicate under the water. Then Emma volunteered to try on a dive vest. Unfortunately I did not get a great photo of that, but the kids did have a blast high-fiving the divers through the glass.
There really is a wide variety of activities here. The kids zone can provide hours of fun. There are lots of fun ways to play and wonderful photo opps like this one of the kids on Lizzie the Hippo. Did you know Hippos can’t swim or float?
Speaking of Hippos, you can now see them clearly in the Hippo Haven thanks to the brand new filtration system that was installed and the fantastic new lighting. Even though the hippos were not in the mood to swim by the glass during our visit, we could still see them laying in the water which is an amazing improvement from before!
My favorite scenes are of the jellyfish. They are so beautiful and graceful. And some of them, deadly. We had such an amazing time and we cannot wait to return.

I love that they have divers how cool! I would take my three little boys.
I always enjoy watching the jellyfish too. They’re just so chill in their movements. I didn’t know hippos couldn’t swim!
We love aquariums too! I recently posted about Sea World.
That looks like so much fun. I love going to the aquarium. Our’s here isn’t as nice yet.
That’s a beautiful aquarium both inside and out. Maybe one day I can drive the kids up for a visit! :-)
That looks like a beautiful aquarium. I would love to visit there with my family.
This looks like an amazing place! It is nowhere near me but I wish I could go!
Great pictures. We love to go to aquariums. I wish this was closer to us.
Looks like a fantastic aquarium to visit! Thanks for the giveaway.
My kids used to love going to the aquarium when they were younger. It’s so beautiful and peaceful there.
